Black/Multi
This fisherman’s jacket is part of Sasquatchfabrix’s Spring/Summer 2012 “Japonism Sunbeam” collection and perfectly illustrates how the label artfully and playfully marries contemporary style with their Japanese heritage. The piece takes the form of a minimal blouson/single rider jacket and rebuilds it using contrast denim sashiko sleeves and various vertical fabric swatches along the front, while a chunky zipper surrounded by thick white strips adds a visual pop that can be read even if a heavier coat is worn over (you can see how they’ve styled it like this in the lookbook). This versatility makes this the ideal layering piece—it’s a piece that can stand on its own but whose character is retained when paired with other items. Soft comfortable 100% cotton body and sleeves and 97% Cotton 3% Polyurethane fabric back panel.
